Vodafone Portugal launches a widget contest

Virgin Mobile Cuts Price Of Unlimited Plan To $50; Does Not Include Data

Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) has cut the price of its unlimited calling plan down to $50 from $80, joining the US’s second-tier carriers in a prepaid price war, reports AP. The new plan rolls out April 15, and according to Virgin spokesperson Jayne Wallace the move was “definitely a response to the marketplace.”


Recession will cut mobile entertainment growth in half

Visa to launch contactless mobile payments

Malaysia is first country get NFC-based system, backed by Maxis, Nokia and Maybank. The commercial launch follows a trial period of the service, which allows people to pay for stuff by waving their handset across a reader.
